Our story

A boutique beauty studio built for people who want results without the noise — calm advice, clean essentials, and looks that feel like you.

Soft beauty workspace with natural light
Since day one

Beauty should feel kind

makeUp for you started when our founder grew tired of crowded counters and ten-step routines that never fit a real weekday. Clients kept asking for the same thing: glow that lasts, makeup that doesn’t cake, and someone who would say “you don’t need that.”

So we opened a small studio with a simple promise — edit first, recommend second. Today we help guests refine their shelves, book soft glam for weddings and events, and learn a morning ritual they can finish before the coffee cools.

Everything we stock is chosen for texture, finish, and how it wears through heat, commute, and long dinners. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, it doesn’t sit on our shelf.

Values

What guides every appointment

Three principles we return to — whether you’re shopping a serum or sitting for bridal makeup.

Soft finish

We favor skin-first color and luminous coverage. The goal is fresh, not filtered — beauty that holds up in daylight.

Honest ingredients

We explain what’s in the bottle in plain language. Clean-leaning where it matters, effective where it counts.

Everyday ritual

If a product only works on a slow Sunday, it isn’t for us. We design routines for real mornings and real evenings.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to book before visiting?

Walk-ins are welcome for product browsing when the studio is open. Consults and makeup sessions are by appointment so we can give you full attention.

How long is a skin consult?

About 30 minutes. We’ll review your current routine, skin goals, and lifestyle, then suggest a short list — usually three to five products max.

Can you work with sensitive skin?

Yes. Tell us about allergies or reactions when you book. We keep fragrance-light options and patch-test new color products when needed.

Do you offer bridal or event makeup?

We do. Soft glam is our signature — luminous skin, refined eyes, and lips that photograph beautifully without looking heavy.
